T Decker Investigations - Fire, Arson and Explosion Investigation Experts

TDI was founded in 2001 by Terry L. Decker . Mr. Decker has more than 20 years of investigative experience, primarily in the investigation of insurance claims. Although he has conducted investigations in other lines of insurance, Mr. Decker’s focus and expertise is in the determination of fire and explosion origin and cause. Through the International Association of Arson Investigators, Mr. Decker is a Certified Fire Investigator, CFI. In addition, Mr. Decker is a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator, a certification administered by the National Association of Fire Investigators. Mr. Decker has qualified many times as an expert witness in fire and explosion origin and cause. Mr. Decker is a former co-chair of the IAAI Membership Committee, and a former Director of the Colorado Chapter of the IAAI. He is also a member of the Missouri Chapter of the IAAI.

Leon Beesley manages TDI's Colorado office. Many of you know Mr. Beesley, or Bees as he is known. However, for those who do not, Mr. Beesley is a former Fire/Arson Investigator, Special Police Officer for the City and County of Denver, Denver Fire Department. Mr. Beesley brings with him the knowledge and experience of having served nearly 40 years in the fire service and 28 years in fire and criminal investigation. Since his retirement from the Denver Fire Department in 2004, Mr. Beesley has been employed investigating fires for various Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska insurance carriers and their attorneys.

TDI's territory includes Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, Utah, and Wyoming. We are licensed as required in Utah and Nebraska.
